1,300 Acres of Newly-Protected Land!!

Cedar Falls Farm, Hartwell GA
|
During 2007, the Land Trust partnered with local landowners to protect over 1,300 acres of pristine forests, wetlands, and open spaces in Georgia and South Carolina.
More information and photos of these exciting new projects will be posted soon. Thank you to all our generous landowners, as well as our members and supporters that have all helped to further our mission this year.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, members, and partners for making this year's Backyard BBQ the most successful event yet.
On Thursday, September 6th, over 250 people joined together with us in celebrating the forests, rivers, and open spaces that make our area unique and beautiful. The birds-eye view of the Savannah River provided the perfect backdrop for a night of music with the Crosstie Walkers, delicious BBQ by Bobby's, and friends both new and old. We will be posting photos of the evening soon - please check back with us.
We were thrilled to see so many faces at the event, and to experience such an overhwelming amount of support for the protection of our cherished retreats, beautiful vistas, and special places. We would like to thank everyone who contributed or attended this year's Backyard BBQ for your commitment to our community's future.
